This article contains information on the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) KCSE 2020/2021 Results that is Out online and SMS as well as how to check. The results for the Kenya Certificate of Secondary School Examinations for 2020 are now available.
The result was announced by the Cabinet Secretary for Education, Prof. George Magoha. We note with pride as indicated by the CS the “results show massive improvement compared to what has been witnessed in the last three years indicating that teachers are engaging the candidates better”. KNEC data show that 752,933 candidates were registered to sit this year’s KCSE exam in 10,437 centres.
The Kenya National Examinations Council is the national body responsible for overseeing national examinations in Kenya. Its current chairman is Professor John Onsati. This council was established under the Kenya National Examinations Council Act Cap 225A of the Laws of Kenya, in 1980.
HOW TO CHECK THE 2020/2021 KCSE RESULTS ONLINE
Applicants should note the following.
- Open www.knec.ac.ke
- Click on the Results tab
- Choose year 2021
- Enter your index number
- Submit
- The next screen should show your results
HOW TO CHECK THE 2020/2021 KCSE RESULTS THROUGH SMS
Applicants should note the following.
- Access the 2019 KCSE results via SMS by sending the full index number (11digits) of the candidate followed by KCSE to 20076. For example 23467847002KCSE then send to 20076
NOTE: After the full index number no spacing between the last number and the initials KCSE
